Introduction

UB's School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SMBS) purchased a Visix AxisTV Digital Signage Solution Enterprise Content Manager/Server from Audio-Video Corporation in late 2010. SMBS allows other university departments to use this service.

UB's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) has four (4) LCD screens displaying digital signage in Davis Hall. The LCD screens are mounted outside the Agrusa Lecture Hall in Davis 101.

Notes

1. SEAS maintains four digital signage channels in Davis Hall, one for each LCD screen. The channels display contents for these departments:
   • SEAS
   • SEAS Dean's Office
   • CSE
   • EE
2. SEAS (?) or the Med School (?) have contracted with Mother Development to develop original video content to play on the Visix AxisTV systems.
3. The four low-quality PCs that run the SEAS Visix AxisTV system are in Davis 101A.
