We have a few scripts that help CSE administrators and faculty select appropriate scholarship candidates.

Undergraduate Scholarships

The Director of Undergraduate Studies and Undergraduate Academic Advisor occasionally require a spreadsheet listing current students' GPAs, genders, ethnicities, and countries of origin to help select students to nominate for scholarships.

Procedure

1. Generate the spreadsheet:

   
   [lethe] ~% ~cwmiller/devel/support/xlsx_majors_report.pl -c UGRD -s 201309
   
   

2. Copy the spreadsheet to your local machine:

   
   [lethe] ~% scp /tmp/Majors_Report_201309_UGRD.xlsx ozymandias:/tmp
   
   

3. Email the spreadsheet to Sridhar and Donna.

Shambhu's Federal Cybersecurity Scholarships

Shambhu occasionally requires a spreadsheet listing current students' GPAs, genders, ethnicities, and countries of origin to help select students to nominate for federal cybersecurity scholarships.

Procedure

1. Generate the spreadsheet:
