UB's enterprise-wide VoIP service provides three (3) ways to make conference calls (below). The one with the fewest keystrokes is option A, wherein you call each participant. The one with the most keystrokes (and opportunities to make a mistake and disconnect somebody) is option B, wherein each participant calls you. The best option is option C, UB's Bridged Conference Call, but UB can only accommodate one bridged conference call at a time. If your desired timeslot is booked, you're out of luck.
Wherein you dial each participant directly:
- You're the 1st participant in the conference call.
- Dial the 2nd participant. Wait for him/her to answer.
- Press 'More' -> 'More' -> 'Confrn' -> Dial the 3nd participant. Wait for him/her to answer and then press the 'Confrn' button.
- Press 'More' -> 'More' -> 'Confrn' -> Dial the 4rd participant. Wait for him/her to answer and then press the 'Confrn' button.
- Press 'More' -> 'More' -> 'Confrn' -> Dial the 5th participant. Wait for him/her to answer and then press the 'Confrn' button.
- Press 'More' -> 'More' -> 'Confrn' -> Dial the 6th participant. Wait for him/her to answer and then press the 'Confrn' button.
[this procedure accommodates 3-6 participants]
Wherein each participant dials in to you:

- The 2nd participant calls in. Pick up handset, talk to caller.
- The 3rd participant calls in. Press "More" -> "Join" on the existing conference call, then press the down arrow to select the incoming call, press "Answer" -> "More" -> "Join". Now this caller is part of the conference call.
- The 4th participant calls in. Press "More" -> "Join" on the existing conference call, then press the down arrow to select the incoming call, press "Answer" -> "More" -> "Join". Now this caller is part of the conference call.
- The 5th participant calls in. Press "More" -> "Join" on the existing conference call, then press the down arrow to select the incoming call, press "Answer" -> "More" -> "Join". Now this caller is part of the conference call.
- The 6th participant calls in. Press "More" -> "Join" on the existing conference call, then press the down arrow to select the incoming call, press "Answer" -> "More" -> "Join". Now this caller is part of the conference call.
[this procedure accommodates 3-6 participants]
UB can accommodate one bridged conference call at a time. We have to call CIT at 645-6200 to schedule a conference call. All conference call participants dial the UB Operator at 645-2000 and request to be put on the conference call. The Campus Operator connects them.
[this procedure accommodates 6 or more participants]
