Introduction

GroundWork, Inc. is an open-source platform for enterprise-level network, application, and cloud management. GroundWork competes with the four largest proprietary systems-management products in the world, Tivoli Software, Openview, Patrol, and CA Unicenter, and is known for being the first company to develop enterprise-class open source products for systems and network administrators. GroundWork products are used by organizations in more than 50 countries, and the company’s customers include AOL, Boeing, Crocs, National Australia Bank, Siemens, and Stanford University. GroundWork was founded by Dave Lilly and Robert Fanini in 2004, and the company is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
